October 2026
Comments are now Threads
The 'Following' inbox is now called 'Threads'. All 'Comments' peeks are now called 'Thread'. This unifies the language used across the comments threads and makes it better suited to a broader set of activities in threads - such as working with Simana AI and receiving/actioning notifications.
Manage your organisation
Organisation Admin users can now access the Manage Organisation area at the bottom of the main navigation bar, just above your user profile link. This admin area allows you to manage: organisation name, about statement, mission statement, contact information, spaces, team (user management and invites), identity providers (for SSO and SCIM), profile appearance, and access user tracking information.
Single Sign-On
SSO has been added allowing users to securely log in to Simana using their existing organisational credentials, without needing a separate Simana username and password. Read the help article.
SCIM User Provisioning
Used in conjunction with SSO, SCIM automatically creates, updates and deactivates user accounts in Simana based on changes made in the customer’s central user directory (e.g. Microsoft Entra ID). Read the help article.
Activity tracking
Every card now has a Tracking feature in the Configure menu. Tracking log displays audit log of activity on the card and can be exported to CSV.
Forms
Some tidy ups to the layout and styling of field labels and help text. Addition of new side-by-side layout options.
Control Charts
- Bug affecting special cause variation calculations has been fixed.
- Bug affecting calculation of UCL and LCL on P charts has been fixed. Limits are now dynamic to each data point (calculated per data point).
- 0% values on P charts now plot on the chart.
- Horizontal gridlines on charts can now be toggled on/off.
Grid layout
Snaps card geometry to grid size when using Freeform layout. This helps keep busy freeform layouts with lots of cards looking tidy and organised.
Case sensitive login removed
The username field on the login is no longer case sensitive.
Image uploads
Bug affecting image uploads has been resolved.
